Galfar/ Swstik Lloyds, the contractors for the projects, were looking for an ideal solution for coatings on the bends & other fittings. Nukote HT was suggested and accepted as the most suitable solution, keeping in mind the economic cost and the execution time.

The pipe fittings were abrasive blasted to Sa2.5 and further treated with Nukote Metal Prime II primer. The final coating of Nukote HT pure aromatic polyurea was spray applied to a DFT of 2 mm on the surface. The coating was checked for consistency in DFT and Holiday (Spark) Testing was also carried out.
